4/16/10 Team HOPE volunteer, Kelly Jolkowski, was paid tribute for her outstanding work on behalf of crime victims by the Office of Victims of Crime. Kelly was presented with the 2010 Volunteer for Victims Award. Kelly graciously accepted the award on behalf of all missing persons.

5/30/03 Suzanne’s law was signed into law by President Bush as part of the National Amber Alert bill. This bill was championed by Doug and Mary Lyall, Team HOPE volunteers.

4/25/03 Team HOPE volunteer, Tom Sylvester, is victorious in his suit against Austria in the European Court of Human Rights.

4/11/03 Team HOPE volunteers, Mary and Doug Lyall, win passage of federal law named for their daughter, a UAlbany Student, who vanished in 1998 and is still missing.

Team HOPE volunteers Gay and Bob Smither were recipients of People Magazine's Hero's Among Us Award presented at the People First Honorees Luncheon in January of 2003. The award was prompted from an article entitled "Laura's Legacy" about Gay, Bob and the Laura Recovery Center, People Magazine issue 5/13/02 pages 62-65.
